Data-EDIH 2.0

The Data-EDIH 2.0 project is a continuation and further development of the previous Data-EDIH initiative. Its main objective is to accelerate the digital transformation of Hungarian SMEs, mid-caps and public sector organisations, with a particular focus on data maturity, data management, data analytics, industrial digitalisation and AI readiness. The project aims to enhance their competitiveness, productivity and resilience by supporting the adoption of advanced digital technologies and structured data management practices.

The University of Pécs (UP) participates as an associated partner, supporting the digital and data-driven development of businesses and healthcare organisations in the Southern Transdanubian region. Its activities focus on legal compliance in data management, information security, and intellectual property protection related to AI and innovation. Through workshops, training, consultancy and test-before-invest services, PTE contributes to improving digital maturity and reducing innovation risks.

The project also strengthens UP’s regional and national partnerships, expands its applied research and consultancy activities, facilitates knowledge transfer, and creates opportunities for future research, development and innovation collaborations.
