Recommended by whom?
The following recommendations were formulated based on the pedagogical strategy of Karolinska Institutet and the results of a qualitative analysis that aimed to find out the opinions of selected groups of Central European anatomists on their own teaching traditions in anatomy education.
Recommendations for anatomists:
1. Prioritize Follow-Up on Educators’ Challenges.
2. Implement Pedagogical International Standard Frameworks.
3. Provide comprehensive training for educators on student-centred active learning techniques, internationalisation strategies, and the principles of SDG4.7.
4. Develop clear guidelines for incorporating these principles into anatomy course design and delivery.
5. Establish mechanisms for ongoing evaluation and improvement of teaching practices.
6. Foster collaboration between anatomy departments and international partners to enhance global perspectives in the curriculum.
7. Ensure Compliance with Legal Requirements and International Standards.
8. Embrace Co-Creation in Curriculum Reform.
9. Incorporate Reflective Pedagogy.
