A sedentary lifestyle in old age is associated with increased risk of chronic and disabling diseases, premature mortality, and substantial economic burden for society.

There is poor understanding of cancer prevention among people with intellectual disabilities. CUPID will establish a research agenda and knowledge base to improve this in the European Union and beyond.

The main task of the project is to establish a strategic partnership with the unity of three universities for the purpose of unified sports management education.

This project brings together 4 higher education institutions in 4 European countries: the French Red Cross IRFSS Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in France, University of Pécs in Hungary, Universitat de Lleida in Spain and Laurea University of Applied Sciences in Finland.
