Take part at the 'Promoting the wellbeing concept at medical and public sector of the Visegrad Region - closing conference'

Dear University citizens!

You are cordially invited to our hybrid closing conference "Promoting the wellbeing concept at medical and public sector of the Visegrad Region", organised jointly by the University of Pécs, Charles University of Prague, Comenius University Bratislava, Medical University of Gdansk.

The aim of the conference is to explore and disseminate knowledge on the wellbeing of individuals in the medical and public sectors, focusing on the challenges and solutions for enhancing personal and professional life quality. We seek to create a platform for sharing scientific research and practical insights into the wellbeing domain, highlighting the significance of well-being for teachers, administrative members of the faculty, and students.

The partners will therefore present and discuss the conclusions of the well-being concepts and programmes, by also inviting municipalities, NGOs, health care organizations and experts for the meeting. The speakers will put special emphasis on introducing how the mentoring program was initiated in each location, what are the pitfalls, obstacles, helping factors in each university, and what solutions were created. The conference will also provide great possibility to set the grounds for joint publications and further co-operations, such as launching multicentre studies.

Date and time: October 10, 2024 (9:00-15:00)
Place: University of Pécs, Medical School -  7624 Pécs, Szigeti út 12., Hungary

The event will be held in English. Faculty, administrative staff and students are also welcome to attend the event. Participation is free of charge thanks to the Visegrad Grant, but registration is required at this link
