Invitation and Agenda to Study Visit in Transylvania

The DRWO 4.0 project is delighted to announce its upcoming international study visit to Transylvania, taking place from September 2–6, 2025. This unique program will bring together professionals, researchers, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders from across the region to share knowledge, build partnerships, and explore new opportunities for sustainable development and innovation in the wood and design industries.
Highlights of the program
•    Workshops & Knowledge sharing: Interactive DRWO 4.0 workshops and exchange ideas with local stakeholders and partner projects (DECORATOR and PLAN C).
•    Institutional & Company visits: Discover innovative local enterprises in the PRO WOOD cluster and gain insights at the Transilvania University of Brașov (Furniture & Design Department / Mechanical Workshop).
•    Networking opportunities: Meet regional entrepreneurs, cluster members, and academic partners in an inspiring environment.
•    Cultural discovery: Explore the city of Sfântu Gheorghe, visit the legendary Bran Castle (Dracula’s Castle), and enjoy the natural surroundings of Tușnad Băi.
