The Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) entrusted Technopolis Group Belgium to carry out a study with the objective of collecting stories of small retailers who have transformed or tried to transform their business to make it greener, more digital and/or introduce customer-centric solutions. The European Commission would like to better understand how small retailers evolve, what helps their transition and what hinders it. This is important in particular in the current times marked by the COVID crisis and economic uncertainties.
To gather the stories, a survey addressed to retail SMEs will be open until 20 August at https://chkmkt.com/TwinTransitioninRetailSMEs
The survey is available in English, Spanish, Italian, German, Greek, French, Hungarian, Polish and Romanian. More languages will be added in the coming days. The survey takes 15 minutes to fill in. Please note that the survey does not have to be filled in one go (responses can be saved by pressing the ‘pause’ button at the bottom of the page). Here you can find all the questions of the survey in pdf.
Some of the success stories will be included in a compendium of EU success stories that the European Commission will publish at the end of this project.
