General description
A projekt célja Délkelet-Európa több országából származó Schreiber-denevérek mintáinak biztosítása és tesztelése. Mindezt egy folyamatban lévő Lloviu vírus megfigyelési program folytatása és fenntartása érdekében azáltal, hogy mintákat biztosítunk a Lloviu vírus RNS szekvencia diverzitás vizsgálatokhoz, valamint az in vivo ADAR/APOBEC génaktivitás vizsgálatokhoz. Az állati eredetű adatok szolgálják majd az in vitro vizsgálatok tervezését.

General description
The objective of this project is to provide and test samples of Schreiber's bats from multiple countries in Southern-Eastern Europe. We plan to continue and maintain a Lloviu virus surveillance programme in relation to these animals, which will provide samples for Lloviu virus RNA sequence diversity studies and also for in vivo ADAR/APOBEC gene activity studies. The animal-derived data will inform the in vitro study design.
